Description

Krill is best known as food for whales. Decisive for normal absorption and utilization of krill oil is its binding to phospholipids, which also exist in the human cell membrane.

The quality feature of krill oil capsules is their almost black colour, caused by astaxanthin, the deep red dye that is found in crustaceans. Astaxanthin is produced by red algae. It is one of the strongest known antioxidants.

Rich in the omega 3 fatty acids eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA)
