Lapacho (lat. tabebuia impetiginosa) belongs to the trumpet tree plants and is originated in Middle and South America. It may reach an age of more than 700 years. Lapacho tea has a long tradition in the rainforests of Middle and South America. The Inca called Lapacho “Tree of Life” and applied it as a healing remedy.
