Biopark Cosmetics Rhassoul Clay, 100 g

The Rhassoul Clay from Morocco is light grey to pinkish brown in color (depends on the place of obtaining) and it has a very fine texture. It is dug from very fertile ground in Atlas Mountains in Morocco and has been used since 12th century in Northern Africa, South Europe and the Middle East. It contains a lot of magnesium, potassium, silica and calcium and a bit of iron, aluminum and sodium. Our clay has a lighter color, it is of the best quality and has extreme absorbing properties.

It is often used in health care centers and spas because it helps to rejuvenate skin, detoxes and tones. It is so good for the skin because of its high absorption abilities since a fast ion exchange is happening in it when it is used. It is also known to swell very much when we mix it with water because it is able to take in more fluid than other clays. It reduces skin dryness and skin or scalp flaking, improves skin elasticity and appearance. It is good for dry skin, but is also beneficial for problem and oily skin since it removes excess skin fat. It is used in natural cosmetic products for skin (soaps, masks) and hair (shampoos, conditioners, masks).

Directions for use: Mix clay with warm purified water or hydrosol (It matches great with Rose hydrosol) and let it sit for 5-10 minutes so the clay can absorb the fluid.
Skin care: Apply mixture to clean skin (face or body). You can also add a tablespoon of quality carrier oil and a drop of essential oil to the mixture before application. Leave on for 10 minutes (if you haven't added oils, the mixture will dry out), then rinse with water, moisten with a natural toner or hydrosol and apply a moisturizer or oil.
Hair care: Apply mixture to moist hair and massage into scalp well. Leave on for at least 10 minutes, add some water, massage hair and scalp again and rinse well. Because of Rhassoul natural cleansing and degreasing properties there is no need to use a shampoo afterwards. But you can use a natural conditioner or a Neem powder mask instead.
