- Punjabi Basmati Rice is has a light, intensely fragrant grain. It is grown in the natural valleys of the Himalayas and is irrigated with pure water from mountain streams. The rice cooks up to an airy and grainy dish and develops a nutty aroma while cooking.
Preparation:
- Boil the rice in twice the amount of lightly salted water briefly and cover, then simmer over medium heat for about 45 minutes.
