The hemp plant is a very frugal plant. It thrives with very little fertiliser in almost all soils. The superfood contains an optimal omega-fatty acid ratio and is easy to use when mixed with flour.
Hemp Milk Buns
- 140g of hemp flour, 65g of sugar, 1 pinch of salt, 50g of soft butter, 175ml of lukewarm milk, 0.5 cubes of yeast.
- Add the yeast to lukewarm milk and wait for about 10 minutes before adding the remaining ingredients. Now process everything into a nice dough. Then cover the dough so that it can rise for 1 hour. Knead everything carefully before processing.
- Divide the dough into 4 - 6 equal pieces and start to form into rolls. Put the finished rolls on the prepared baking tray and let rise for 15 minutes. Finally, coat the rolls with sugar water and bake at 180 ° C for about 25-30 minutes.
- You may see shiny pieces of the hemp nut shells in the flour.
