Description
Lipocholestérol® contains a combination of red yeast rice and Lipophytol. Lipophytol is a plant extract made from microencapsulated pine phytosterols. The microencapsulation improves solubility in the stomach and increases its effectiveness. Red yeast rice is obtained by fermenting Monascus purpureus, a microscopic red fungus, on rice. It has been used for centuries and is known for its positive properties thanks to monacolin K.
Recommended intake:
- Take 3 tablets daily with a large glass of water.
- The tablets are divisible to make them easier to take.
- Recommended duration of use: 1 to 2 months.
Note:
- Not recommended for those who are pregnant or breastfeeding, children under 18 years of age and adults over 70 years of age.
- Not recommended in cases of liver or kidney disease, hypersensitivity to statins and unusually high transaminase levels.
- Do not take if you are taking cholesterol-lowering medication or other products containing red yeast rice.
