Description

Shatavari, also known as "Indian Asparagus," is one of the most important plants in Ayurveda. Its name translates roughly as "she who has a hundred husbands," a charming, traditional image of inexhaustible vitality and energy. The root of the plant has been valued for centuries and creates a harmonious balance between Vata and Pitta. Shatavari's cooling properties are particularly beneficial during challenging times or periods of physical change.
