Green Dumplings with Sheep's Cheese and Spinach
- 300g spinach, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped garlic clove, 100g sheep's cheese, 100g cottage cheese, 1/2 teaspoon oregano or other herbs of your choice
- 150g of spinach flour, 150g butter, 150g quark, 1 egg yolk
- First knead the flour well with a little salt, grated butter and cottage cheese. Let cool for 1/2 hour. The oven can be preheated to 200 ° C.
- Heat the oil and sauté the onion with the garlic, add herbs and mix everything together with the cheese.
- Cut the dough into circles or rectangles and fill. Press one corner to the other to seal the dumpling. Cover with egg yolks and bake for approx. 15 minutes in the oven.
