- The Indian patchouli plant is known for its intense essential oil. The plant is said to have a strong grounding property.
- To use the incense, place it directly onto charcoal briquettes that have burned down to grey ash. When the briquettes have a grey ashy coating on top, you can safely add the incense. The residual heat from the coal releases the scent of the incense.
