Description

This aromatic cocoa butter from Peru is obtained from the Criollo cocoa bean variety and can be used for cooking as well as for skin and lip care and as body cream.

Recommendation for use:
The solid form of cocoa bean oil is called cocoa butter. It is ideal for desserts, ice creams, chocolate creations and for skin care.

Raw Chocolate Recipe:
Melt 100 g raw cocoa chips in a water bath at 41°C and stir in 3 tablespoons of cocoa powder. Add a little vanilla pulp and a pinch of salt. Sweeten with coconut blossom sugar or xylitol if desired.
Fill the chocolate mixture into small praline moulds or paper cups and let it cool down slowly - because cooling it in the freezer too quickly will turn the chocolate grey.

Storage:

  • Store in a cool and dry place.
  • If the ambient temperature is above 18°C, it can also be stored on the top shelf of the refrigerator after opening to keep it fresh for longer.

NOTE:

These cocoa balls are made by hand and may therefore have some cracks or breakage.
