Diet Guidelines for Pitta Types
The guidelines we're about to lay down are of a general nature. Each of us are different and we may need to make adjustments accordingly. You might be a pitta type with a fruit allergy to one of these fruits - it goes without saying you shouldn't eat that fruit then, right? Don't eat anything you're allergic to, no matter how highly recommended it comes, mmmmkay? Other variable conditions like your Agni strength, the season, temperature and how dominant your doshas are can also influence your food choices.
Note: before changing your eating habits, you should always talk to your doctor first. This nutritional guide is for information only and is not intended to treat diseases, relieve symptoms or prevent them from occurring.
Guidelines
Pitta types should generally eat sweet fruits. Sour fruits should be avoided. Vegetables should be sweet and bitter, and spicy vegetables should be largely avoided.
